Testing, results and costs
Tests should answer a question
More testing is not automatically more useful. The doctor considers what information would change assessment or management. Bring previous reports to avoid treating every appointment as a reason to start again with a new set of tests.

Bulk billing is not guaranteed by our request form
Medicare may cover eligible pathology when the provider bulk bills, but eligibility and provider arrangements matter. A privately billed Doccio consultation does not decide the laboratory's charges. A result needs clinical context

Before testing, agree who will review the report and how follow-up will happen. Do not assume that no contact means everything is normal, and do not wait for a routine appointment if you have been advised to seek urgent care.
