Why a doctor might decline
Some problems need a physical examination, emergency care or an in-person service. The doctor's job is to decide what's clinically appropriate, not to match a pre-paid outcome.
What happens instead
The doctor explains why and suggests the right next step, such as your regular GP, an urgent care clinic or 000 in an emergency.
